Services We Provide

Handepay is a not a lender.

Handepay introduce customers to other financial service providers to receive services from them directly. Our introduction activities include both regulated and unregulated introduction activities and are in relation to both regulated and unregulated services. These may include products such as card acquiring services, card payment terminal hire and other business support services such as electronic point of sale products.

We will explain the products available to you from our partners and explain the key details including the costs and the benefits and risks with the products. You will then be able to make your own choice about how to proceed.

We are not an independent financial advisor. We do not assess the wider market for acquiring services, terminal leasing providers or additional business banking services providers; nor do we provide any advice on whether the introductions we offer represent the best value you could obtain on the wider market. You should always consider your individual circumstances when entering into financial agreements.

Not all of our introduction activities are regulated. This means that certain credit broking activities (for example brokering of credit products for corporate businesses) and certain other unregulated introduction activities (such as electronic point of sale services) are not afforded the same protections and are not governed by the Financial Conduct Authority. The terms and conditions of the product you receive should make this clear, however, if you are not sure, you can contact us on 0333 005 0999 for more information.

How We Get Paid

Handepay does not charge you a fee for our credit broking or other introduction services. Typically, the partner firm we introduce you to, will pay us commission for the referral. How we get paid will depend on the type of product or service you decide to take out through us.

A flat fee payment- For some services the companies we work with pay us a flat, fixed fee when you take outservices through us. The amount we get paid is the same regardless of how much you pay as a customer and our fee has no bearing on the price you pay.

A commission fee-  For some services the companies you choose to receive products or services from will pay us a commission fee. This may be a percentage of the total cost of acquiring fees or any other product or service we introduce to you. This could be paid as a one-off payment or over a longer period. This basis of the calculation for our commission is preset and agreed with  the provider and applies equally to all merchant customers. This commission is included in the quotes or other pricing options that we display. If you require further details please let us know.
