How do I view my transaction history?

You can view and manage your business card transaction through the Handepay Mobile app. All you need to do is:

1.    Download the Handepay app from the App Store/Google Play:
2.    Register using your email address.
3.    Start enjoying all the benefits in just a few taps!

You can access statements through your Acquirers merchant portal. Statements include transaction totals, fees, and settlement details.

Will settlement times differ for UK bank holidays?

Most merchants receive funds the next working day, depending on their banking provider. A merchant account is a special type of bank account that holds card payments before they are transferred to your business bank account. It’s required for taking card payments. 

What is a Merchant Identification Number (MID)?

Your Merchant Identification number (MID) identifies your business to the card networks and is used to process your business card payment transactions.

Are Handepay terminals PCI compliant?

Yes. All terminals meet industry security standards and support encrypted transactions.

Can I take card payments over the phone?

MOTO (Mail Order / Telephone Order) need to be approved by your acquirer. Once approved Handepay can offer a solution that lets you enter card details through a terminal.

A payment gateway allows your customers to pay securely on your website for goods and services. It connects your site to the payment network and processes debit and credit card transactions in real time.

Is a payment gateway secure?

Yes. The payment gateway is provided by Global Payments and is fully PCI DSS compliant.

How do I integrate my website with your payment gateway?
