Switching your card payment provider is simple
We know that time is precious when you’re running a business. Keeping your customers happy is your priority, so it might seem that switching your card payment provider is too much of a hassle.
At Handepay we make things simple and straightforward.
Our team of expert advisors are on hand to guide you through the process and make sure there’s no disruption to your card payment service. What’s more, we offer a Price Challenge where we’ll carry out a review of your current card processing costs and if we can’t beat them we’ll give you £1,000! In most cases we’ll even provide a contribution toward your exit costs if you’re in a contract.
How to claim your switching fees
Our team are on hand to offer you help and support with switching from your current provider. What’s more, in most cases we will even cover your switching fees!
Once your card machine is installed and has made its first live transaction (within 14 days of delivery date), and you’ve made your first rental payment, you’ll need to provide us with your final invoice / settlement quote from your existing supplier.
Email [email protected] with your settlement quote and a VAT invoice for the final switching costs (you can send either a scanned image or a photograph of the document).
Claims for switching costs must be made within 90 days of your first transaction.

This all depends on your contract with your current supplier. There may be cancellation fees if you end your contract early, however, in most cases Handepay will provide a contribution towards your exit costs of your current contract when switching with Handepay. All you need to do is provide us with a final settlement from your existing supplier.

No. We recommend that you don’t give notice to cancel your existing agreement until your Handepay card processing facility is up and running, that way you can be sure there is no break in service.
