Yesterday, 15th March, Handepay employees took part in the eighth annual St Helens 10K Run. Eight of our employees tackled the route to raise money for The Steve Prescott Foundation, who organised the event.

The St Helens 10K was originally scheduled to take place on Sunday 4th March but due to the big freeze last month organisers rescheduled the event to take place in safer and warmer conditions.

On the day, the improved weather conditions attracted not only over 2,000 runners but up to 1,000 spectators to cheer on the runners as they tackled the infamous North Road hill.

It wasn’t only the runners who were representing Handepay on the day, Handepay employees manned the water station at the top of North Road, to hand out much needed refreshments to the runners.

All the money that our employees have raised will go towards hitting our £30,000 pledge for The Steve Prescott Foundation.

To continue our partnership with The Steve Prescott Foundation and support our fundraising target, we will continue to take part and host fundraising events throughout the year.
