Handepay will once again sponsor the St Helens Triathlon to continue supporting nominated charity, the Steve Prescott Foundation (SPF).
Having raised £21k to date, with a pledge to take this to £30k with a series of fundraising events, Handepay’s dedicated employees have so far participated in the St Helens 10k, the St Helens Triathlon and the annual Walk for Precky from St Helens to Old Trafford, whilst also providing invaluable volunteer marshals to these events.
Martin Blondel, general manager of the SPF said: "The Steve Prescott Foundation is delighted to continue the partnership with Handepay. Their support and dedication to this prestigious event is invaluable. It’s a real pleasure to work with such a dedicated and enthusiastic team. Handepay staff go above and beyond by actively taking part in the event and providing volunteers too."
The 4th St Helens Triathlon will take place on the 9th September 2018. The event has attracted over 200 participants from all over the UK in each of the first three years. This is an official Triathlon England event with split transitions starting at Eccleston Mere and finishing in the grounds of Rainford High Technology College.
Andy Peake, managing director of Handepay, says: "We are still dedicated to raising money and supporting the great work of the Steve Prescott Foundation. We are delighted to be able to sponsor and take part in this challenging local event for a second year."
There will be a sprint distance (750m/20km/5km) and a standard distance (1.5km/40km/10km). If you would like to register for The Handepay St Helens Triathlon 2018 visit sthelenstriathlon.org
